Welcome to my shop, where I offer small collections of my one of a kind wax novelties in limited edition. I create new collections seasonally, sometimes I resurrect previous collections and paint them in a new way, or add a new element, making each collection unique. You will also find my available framed original art pieces behind glass which are usually one of a kind depending on the mold I make. This wax relief sculpture is cast in 100% pure beeswax in a mold taken from one of my original sculptures. The sculpture was modeled after a marginalia figure (pictured) from the Rutland Psalter circa 1260. It was hand carved, painted with oils, and given a gold leaf treatment. The mat is hand cut from a thin sheet of red wax. The 7x9 solid wood frame features gold leafed accents.
