It looks like it's going to be a busy year! I just received my first shipment of boxes for my Wax Flower Modeling Class supplies for The School of The Forgotten Arts and I think they're exactly what I had in mind. It took 4 years to get to this point after running into one problem after another. My wax supplier was having issues, the box size changed, and the tariff situation caused a years worth of hold ups alone.. but they're finally here!

These boxes will hold the supplies for my online wax flower workshops. They will contain colorful wax sheets, tools and templates so that you can follow along online.
As I continue to build the online school, I will be traveling and partnering with museums and shops across he country to hold workshops dedicated to art forms lost to time like wax flowers and wax anatomical carving. I'll be sending out updates on where my classes will be next so stay tuned. If you would like to partner with me to hold a workshop at your venue, feel free to reach out!
I should be opening up The School of The Forgotten Arts website by late spring, so if you're on my mailing list, of course you will have first dibs on boxes and special prices.
Say hello to Sweet Tooth, my newest wax model which features a cross section showing tooth anatomy. One tooth shows cavities and a gold filling! Both teeth are removable.. because how fun is that?
These models were cast in both natural amber beeswax (the gums) and triple filtered white beeswax (the teeth) with a gold leafed filling. I will only be casting 20 of these, so collect one before they're gone forever.
This will also be the last month that I am offering all of my anatomical pieces at one time. Because of my schedule I will only be releasing one new anatomy piece a month in limited editions- as well as my framed relief sculptures.
In early March I will be exhibiting a large installation of wax flowers at the Schlafly Library in Saint Louis, so if you would like to see jumbo wax blooms in person, this will be the time. I'll take some video too:)
Happy Fire Horse!
