An Exhibit of Wax Flowers at The Schlafly Library

The start of March brought the wonderful opportunity to exhibit a few of my wax flowers on the sparkling glass shelves of the Schlafly Library in the Central West End in Saint Louis. I brought some large blooms and I experimented with some sea forms in wax, incorporating seashells that I have carried with me for years.

They also allowed me to inhabit a smaller shelf space where I was able to create 2 memento mori vignettes.

Sadly, I came down with the absolute worst flu in my life and I missed the first day:( and most of the next 2 weeks. The exhibit will be on display until the end of March. Thank you Lisa Wolfe at the Schlafly Library for this wonderful opportunity!
